As part of efforts to enhance cooperation in the exchange of scientific and cultural expertise and to discuss the signing of a joint memorandum of understanding, the Dean of the College of Information Engineering, Professor Dr. Hikmat Najm Abdullah, welcomed a delegation at the college’s dean’s office. The delegation included Professor Dr. Abdul Jawad Kazem Al-Amiri, President of Al-Nusour University, Professor Dr. Osama Salman Abdulrazzaq, Vice President of Al-Nusour University for Scientific Affairs, and Engineer Aya Dawood Salman, Head of the Laboratory Management and Accreditation Department.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohammed Imad Abdul Sattar, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, and Lecturer Hamza Mohammed Marhoon, Head of the Scholarships and Relations Division.

During the meeting, discussions focused on scientific and academic cooperation between the College of Information Engineering and Al-Nusour University. The memorandum encourages collaboration in scientific research and knowledge development while providing opportunities for both universities to exchange expertise and enhance educational and training programs. This aims to improve the quality of education and expand opportunities for students and faculty members.

This initiative aligns with ministerial directives that emphasise strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between public and private universities.
