The College of Information Engineering Works to Strengthen Joint Scientific and Academic Cooperation with the Private Sector

As part of efforts to enhance cooperation between the College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University and the private sector, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Hikmat Najim Abdullah, received a delegation from Titanium Center, which specializes in training and developing skills in the field of cybersecurity. The delegation was represented by Mr. Mustafa Ibrahim Mustafa, the center’s authorized director, and Mr. Mohammed Nawar Ahmed, the center’s business developer. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Division, and the Director of the Technology Incubator Division at the College of Information Engineering.

The visit aimed to discuss prospects for cooperation in providing practical and hands-on training opportunities for the college’s students in the areas of cybersecurity, digital forensics, penetration testing, and modern security fields, in addition to professional immersion programs designed to refine students’ skills and prepare them for the job market in technology and the cyber domain.

The college expressed its appreciation for this initiative by Titanium Center, affirming its pride in the center’s choice of the College of Information Engineering specifically, given the college’s academic rigor and leadership in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, communications, and networks, as well as the alignment of its academic programs with market needs and modern technological developments.
