The College of Information Engineering discusses a master’s thesis in the field of wireless networks and artificial intelligence

The College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University discussed a master’s thesis by the student Zain Al-Abideen Ali Kattaa, entitled “Improving Channel Allocation in Wireless Networks Using Artificial Intelligence.” The thesis addressed one of the key challenges in fifth-generation (5G) networks related to radio resource management and improving quality of service.

The thesis aimed to enhance the performance efficiency of wireless networks by reducing interference and latency and improving fairness among users, through the use of artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques in channel allocation mechanisms.

The study results also showed that the proposed model outperformed traditional methods, contributing to improved wireless network performance and supporting digital infrastructure.

This discussion comes as part of the College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University’s direction toward supporting advanced scientific research and encouraging the use of artificial intelligence technologies in developing modern communication systems, thereby strengthening the university’s role in keeping pace with scientific and technological developments and serving digital infrastructure.
