The College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University organized an awareness seminar titled “Women’s Work in the Private Sector: Reality and Challenges” on 26/2/2026.

The seminar addressed the administrative and legal aspects of women’s participation in the private sector through a lecture delivered by Ms. Jenan Karim Najm, Director of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, in cooperation with Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Ali Abdul Kareem.

The lecture highlighted the main challenges faced by women working in the private sector and discussed possible solutions. It also addressed the marginalization of women’s roles within the private sector, particularly concerning rights, insurance, and health, security, and social guarantees.
