The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Information Engineering, in cooperation with the Higher Institute of Judicial Sciences, held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in the gardens of the College of Information Engineering, an awareness festival on the importance of early detection of breast cancer and the methods of prevention and treatment.

The event also included an awareness lecture delivered by Dr. Dhi Nasif Jasim, who emphasized the importance of early detection of breast cancer and introduced ways of prevention and treatment to encourage attendees to prioritize their general health.

Participants highlighted the importance of such initiatives in creating a university environment that supports community awareness and promotes the values of cooperation and human responsibility, praising the role of academic institutions in supporting health and social causes.
