College of Information Engineering Achieves Sustainable Development Goals
Under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College of Information Engineering, Professor Dr. Hikmat Najm Abdullah, the college has achieved a number of Sustainable Development Goals. These goals cover the areas of health, education, environment, and partnerships at all levels.
Assistant Lecturer Noor Ayed Handel, Head of the Global Rankings Unit, in collaboration with Assistant Lecturer Saif Saad Ahmed from the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division, confirmed that these initiatives enhance the college’s image and demonstrate its commitment to making real contributions that reflect the college’s excellence in applying global best practices in sustainable development.
Among the Sustainable Development Goals achieved by the college is Goal 13: Climate Action, including:

Forming the “Green Team” to raise awareness about environmental conservation.

Participating in a campaign to clean the gardens of the College of Information Engineering.

Promoting awareness to maintain the overall cleanliness of the university campus.
Through these initiatives, the College of Information Engineering remains committed to making meaningful contributions toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
