The college of Information Engineering held a scientific symposium on the development of research in the field of communications and networks by the visiting Professor Hamid Safa Al-Rowaishidi from Brunel university in the United Kingdom. The symposium was held in Al-Rafidain Hall at the college of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University. It was attended by many specialists and researchers in this field from the Iraqi universities, the Ministry of Communications and the Communication and Media Commission (CMC). The workshop lasted for two hours, during which the latest research developments in the field of communications were reviewed. The visiting professor pointed out that the sixth generation is the current research field, since the fifth generation will be implemented within the next year.
