Ammar E. Al-Qassab received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 1992 and 2002, respectively. He received the PhD degree from Newcastle University, England, 2012. Currently, he is working as a lecturer at Al-Nahrain University, Iraq. His main research expertise and interests are in the area of Underwater Networking, wireless receiver Implementation with SHARC Platforms, signal processing for mobile wireless communication. During the last 8 years he has published over 15 conference and journal papers, supervised successfully 3 MSc. Students and made contributions in the area of wireless receiver design for Doppler tolerant receivers in Underwater communications. He is the Managing Editor for Iraqi Journal of Information and Communications Technology (IJICT) at Al-Nahrain University-College of Information Engineering.
