Huawei Technologies for Communications Iraq sector team represented by the General Manager Mr. Peter Piao visited today 13th of May 2019 Al-Nahrain University and held a meeting with university president assistant for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Abduljabbar K. Naima, dean of College of Engineering Asst. Prof. Mohammed Abdulsattar,\u00a0 dean of College of Information Engineering Prof. Dr. Emad H. Abbood, and Prof. Dr. Ban Nadeem from the college of Sciences to discuss an MoU between the two parties aiming for establishing Huawei Academy. The meeting was constructive and purposeful in the direction of enabling students skills through Huawei certificates.<\/p>\n

The team from Huawei were invited to visit the college of Information Engineering to discover its buildings, labs, and classes. The college’s dean accompanied the Huawei team and brief the visitors about the college core of study, programs, departments, students, and available classes for future expansions and projects. The visiting team and the college of Information Engineering represented buy the dean agreed to keep track of next steps regarding signing the MoU and activating its terms.<\/p>\n
